Angelina began her career in the hair industry in 2002.  Over the years, Angelina has taken many advanced education seminars from industry leaders, such as Shwartzkopf, Redken, L’Anza, Kevin Murphy, Goldwell, Joico, L’Oreal Professional, as well as an intense one week training seminar at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Toronto, Ontario and a 3 day Seminar with La Biosthetique Academy in Vancouver, British Colombia.

In 2022 Angelina became certified as HairTalk Master in Hairwair Toppers for those struggling with Alopecia. She is currently training to make custom lace front wigs and hopes to soon provide wigs for kids.

As a competitive stylist, Angelina has been a semi-finalist in 2005 and 2008 for Canadian Hairstylist of the Year awards.  She was nominated for the Winnipeg Nightlife Awards Hairstylist of the Year in 2020. Her talent was showcased in movies such as “The Class Project” with Abigail Breslin and Hermione Granger, and “While I Was Gone” with Kirstie Alley, among a few.

As an artist, crafter and musician, Angelina finds inspiration in the different mediums and textures found in the arts she is surrounded by.  Colour palettes that range from smooth and fluid gradients, to bold and bright colours,  highly textured to the satiny smooth, all translate easily into beautiful hair.

Angelina enjoys every aspect of hairstyling, but especially enjoys hilighting, the challenge of colour corrections, working with curly hair, and styling hair up. Her specialty is curly hair cutting.

When she’s not behind the chair, Angelina does pencil and pencil crayon portraits, as well as illustrations for children’s books.
